1. City Palace: The first attraction that you must see is the City Palace, which is the biggest and most beautiful structure in Udaipur. Situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, the palace is a wonderful synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles which has ornate balconies, huge domes, and several cul de sac. Another interesting aspect is the Crystal Gallery which is the biggest in the world collection of crystal wares which is privately owned.
2. Lake Pichola: The other splendid lake, located in Udaipur, Lake Pichola boasts of tranquil boats that offer exquisite views of surrounding palaces such as Isa the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. The lake is prettier in the evening when the sunsets and the reflections of the city can be seen on the lake water.
3. Jagdish Temple: This massive structure is one of the best-known temples in Rajastan due to its grandeur as well as its beauty. Completed in 1651, this temple is rich in its history and exceptional design of detailed sculptures adorning its pillars, ceilings and figures, which makes this place not only a religious place but also a temple of culture.
4. Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens): This nice, tranquil garden has a history of being constructed for a queen and her maids. Decorated with beautiful fountains, pure white pavilions, and thick greenery, it is an ideal place for a peaceful repose and an insight into the life of royalty. A very beautiful garden well maintained and has the lovely lotus pool and elephant’s crafted stone statues.
5. Bagore Ki Haveli: Bagore Ki Haveli is an old building located by the Lake Pichola converted into a model of Rajasthani heritage. This haveli has over hundred rooms filled with attires, paintings, and the history of the royalty. In the evening, the courtyard of the house is transformed into a stage where cultural dances and puppet performances are held.
